Day 1: Hue to DMZ to Cua Tung Beach
Embark on a picturesque journey from Hue, tracing the historic highway 1 to Quang Tri town, where echoes of wartime valor resonate within the solemn walls of Long Hung Church and the storied Quang Tri Old Citadel, witness to the indomitable spirit of a nation.
Following the gentle rhythm of the coastline, we traverse from Cua Viet Beach to the serene shores of Cua Tung Beach, a tranquil oasis nestled amidst the pristine beauty of nature. Our exploration continues into the heart of history as we delve into the labyrinthine Vinh Moc tunnels, bearing witness to the resilience of those who sought refuge within its depths amidst the tumult of war. As night descends, we find respite in the cozy comforts of our hotel in Cua Tung, embracing the serenity of the seaside retreat.
Day 2: Cua Tung Beach to Khe Sanh
As the sun rises, we pay homage to the valiant souls who traversed the Truong Son Trail, pausing at the Truong Son cemetery to honor their sacrifice and courage.
Continuing our odyssey westward on highway 9, we pause in Cam Lo for a delectable lunch before ascending into the tranquil embrace of the Truong Son foothills. Along the winding roads, we encounter quaint villages, hidden waterfalls, and pristine natural springs, each offering a moment of serenity amidst the rugged beauty of the landscape.
By mid-afternoon, we arrive in Khe Sanh, a poignant reminder of wartime valor and sacrifice. Checking into our hotel, we savor the tranquility of the evening, a quiet reflection amidst the echoes of history.
Day 3: Khe Sanh to Aluoi to Prao
Awakening to a new day of adventure, we explore the hallowed grounds of Khe Sanh combat base and Ta Con Airbase, a testament to the resilience of those who stood firm amidst the storms of war.
Setting forth on the legendary Ho Chi Minh Trail, we traverse the famous Dakrong bridge, immersing ourselves in the vibrant culture of the Pa Co minority people before embarking on a breathtaking journey through the Truong Son mountain range. Along the way, we marvel at the pristine beauty of the landscape, pausing for moments of tranquility amidst the cascading waterfalls and dense forests that adorn the landscape.
As dusk descends, we arrive in Prao, a hidden gem amidst the verdant jungles and towering mountains. Our overnight stay offers a glimpse into the untouched beauty of nature, a serene respite amidst the rugged beauty of the landscape.
Day 4: Prao to Hoi An
With hearts full of memories and spirits rejuvenated by nature's embrace, we bid farewell to Prao, tracing the gentle contours of the Ho Chi Minh Trail towards Thanh My. Crossing the tranquil river by local boat, we embark on a journey through time at the mystical ruins of My Son, a UNESCO World Heritage site steeped in the grandeur of the Cham civilization.
With the ancient echoes of My Son lingering in our hearts, we journey onwards to Hoi An, where the vibrant streets and storied history beckon, marking the end of an unforgettable adventure through the heartland of Vietnam.

Note: It has happened that other motorbike riders have picked up our customers, saying they are with the Hue Riders. Something that almost every time ends up with a bad tour/experience for the customer, and a bad review for us. When we come to pick you up, we will be wearing a Hue Riders jacket/vest. If anyone else tries to pick you up, they are not with our company, or associated with us whatsoever. Please be careful, and make sure you are picked up by a person from Hue Riders.
