Day 1: Hue to Demilitarised zone (DMZ) to Khe Sanh
Embark on a journey from Hue along the historic highway 1 to Quang Tri town, where echoes of the past linger amidst the revered Long Hung Church and the venerable Quang Tri Old Citadel, witness to a fierce battle in 1972.
Riding along the picturesque coastline from Cua Viet Beach to Cua Tung Beach, immerse yourself in the serenity of the Demilitarised Zone, exploring the Vinh Moc tunnels—a testament to resilience amidst adversity.
Pause at Truong Son Cemetery to honor fallen soldiers before venturing into the Truong Son foothills, where the majestic landscape unfolds in all its splendor, adorned with charming villages and enchanting natural springs.
As evening descends, arrive in Khe Sanh, a bastion of history established by General Westmoreland, where a tranquil night awaits.
Day 2: Khe Sanh to Phong Nha Caves
After breakfast, delve into history at the Khe Sanh combat base before embarking on a breathtaking journey along the west Ho Chi Minh trail. Traverse the stunning scenery, encountering lush jungles, cascading waterfalls, and the vibrant cultures of the Paco and Van Kieu Minorities.
Crossing Sa Mu Pass and meandering through Lang Ho village and U Bo Pass, immerse yourself in the tales of the American war, etched into the very fabric of the land.
Retreat to Son Trach village near Phong Na-Ke Bang National Park, where tranquility awaits amidst the natural splendor.
Day 3: Phong Nha to Dong Hoi
Embark on a serene boat journey along the Son River, exploring the ethereal beauty of Phong Nha Cave and Tien Son Cave, where stalactites and stalagmites weave tales of ancient wonders.
Indulge in a refreshing swim at Suoi Nuoc Mooc Springs and discover the hidden depths of Tamco caves and Kilometre 0 of the west Ho Chi Minh Trail.
Later, traverse the east Ho Chi Minh trail to Dong Hoi, a town brimming with charm. From here, convenient connections by train or open tour bus await, beckoning you towards new adventures in Hanoi.

Something that almost every time ends up with a bad tour/experience for the customer, and a bad review for us. When we come to pick you up, we will be wearing a Hue Riders jacket/vest. If anyone else tries to pick you up, they are not with our company, or associated with us whatsoever. Please be careful, and make sure you are picked up by a person from Hue Riders.
