1 Day Tour Demilitarized Zone (DMZ)

Embarking from Hue, our journey unfolds along the picturesque Highway 1, leading us northward towards Quang Tri town, situated just south of the infamous DMZ (Demilitarized Zone). Our first stops include the solemn Long Hung Church and the historic Quang Tri Old Citadel, a poignant site that bore witness to the intense "Battle of 81 days and nights" in 1972, a pivotal conflict between North and South Vietnam.

Continuing our exploration, we delve into the heart of the DMZ, where remnants of wartime history await. Here, we pay homage to the symbolic Hien Luong Bridge, traverse the solemn waters of the Ben Hai River, and immerse ourselves in the narratives preserved within the DMZ museum. Venturing further, we uncover the hidden depths of resilience at the Vinh Moc tunnels, a testament to the indomitable spirit of the local populace who sought refuge underground amidst relentless bombings.

Following a well-deserved reprieve with a delectable lunch, the afternoon unfolds with a scenic drive through the idyllic countryside and along the captivating coastline. Amidst the backdrop of verdant rice paddies, flourishing farms, and panoramic ocean vistas, we pause intermittently, allowing ample opportunities to capture stunning photographs, indulge in a refreshing swim, or simply savor moments of tranquility amidst nature's embrace.

As the day draws to a close, our return journey brings us back to Hue around 5PM, where our dedicated driver will ensure your safe return to your hotel or preferred destination, concluding our enriching odyssey through history and natural splendor.

Note: It has happened that other motorbike riders have picked up our customers, saying they are with the Hue Riders. Something that almost every time ends up with a bad tour/experience for the customer, and a bad review for us. When we come to pick you up, we will be wearing a Hue Riders jacket/vest. If anyone else tries to pick you up, they are not with our company, or associated with us whatsoever. Please be careful, and make sure you are picked up by a person from Hue Riders.

Many people are worried about their luggage. Don't be. Our motorbikes are setup to be able to carry big backpacks and/or suitcases in the back of the frame. See the photo at the top of this page how it looks.
